St. Mary’s lift the Transfield Cup as Clonmel, Castleisland and Kinsale also win silverware.

St. Mary’s defeated Bruff to 23-6 to win Transfield Cup. The Saints led 8-3 at half time with a penalty from Ben Sargent and a try by Brian Downey. Sargent added three penalties and a drop goal in the second half and Sean Lyons also added a penalty.

Clonmel defeated Waterpark 18-11 to win the Garryowen Cup and Castleisland defeated Killorglin 48-12 to take the McElligott Cup.

Old Christians defeated Cobh Pirates 18-14 in the Cork County Cup. Brefni O’Callaghan and Shane Barry scored tries for the Old Christians side and Stuart Lee added a conversion and two penalties.

Kinsale defeated Douglas 39-20 in the O’Neill Cup. Adam Colle scored two tries for the winners. Eddie Farran,
Peter Murphy, Andy Lynch
and Richard Kingston also added tries and Murphy kicked three conversions and a penalty.

Kinsale second fifteen defeated Bandon 19-12 to win the O’Sullivan (Muskerry) Cup. Kenneth O'Leary, David Kingston and Sean Kingston scored tires for Kinsale and Sean Kingston added two conversions.
