Matawalu And Murray Cited

Following on from Friday night’s round six RaboDirect PRO12 game against Glasgow Warriors, two players, Glasgow’s Niko Matawalu and Munster’s Conor Murray will appear before an independent RaboDirect PRO12 Disciplinary Committee.

Glasgow Warriors' replacement scrum half, Niko Matawalu (No.21) has been cited for foul play contrary to law 10.4 (m) – act contrary to good sportmanship (biting).

Munster's scrum half, Conor Murray (No. 9) was also cited for foul play contrary to law 10.4 (a) – striking with the elbow.

Both alleged offences occured during the match Glasgow v Munster on Friday 25th October.

A hearing will be held before an independent RaboDirect PRO12 Disciplinary Committee at a date to be advised.
