Regional Development Squad Preparation Continues
31st October 2013 By Munster Rugby
The East Munster Regional Development Squad took on their North Munster counterparts on Wednesday, 30th October at Clanwilliam FC.
Both sides travelled with a squad of 30 as their preparations continue ahead of the North, South, East and West Munster round robin series scheduled to be played in February 2014.
Players from all regions are currently being viewed for future Munster Youths squad selection.
Commenting on the overall selection process Ken O’Connell East Munster Head Coach stated “The talent on view at this level from all four regions is of a very high standard and there are great expectations for many of these players going forward.”
Underage rugby within the province is of a very high quality and I am confident a number of our current RDS players have the ability to represent their province going forward with the ultimate goal of eventually wearing the green jersey.”
