Injury Update

Gerhard van den Heever and Andrew Conway return to Munster training in UL today after recent injuries.
Van den Heever is back after sustaining a hand injury on his debut with Conway returning after suffering a blow to his knee last month.
Keith Earls won’t train today and will follow IRB return to play protocols after suffering a concussion in the 78th minute of the match against Perpignan at the weekend.
Paddy Butler continues with his own re-integration to training as he recovers from fracturing his right thumb.
Conor Murray is progressing well after damaging the medial ligament of his right knee during the game against Perpignan at Thomond Park. Murray has been ruled out for up to six weeks.
Simon Zebo is recovering well from a cracked bone in his left foot and has commenced rehabilitation running. Zebo should return to training over the Christmas period.
Donnacha Ryan returned ahead of schedule to face Perpignan at the weekend after straining ligaments in his left knee.
Ian Keatley also played on Saturday after recovering from the dead leg he suffered in the game against Perpignan at Thomond Park.
Tommy O'Donnell played the final 20 minutes at the weekend, and helped set-up the winning try, as he continues his recover from a hyper-extended knee.
Luke O’Dea had surgery last weekend on his broken thumb and has been ruled out for approximately eight weeks.
Mike Sherry will undergo surgery this week after rupturing the ACL in his left knee and is expected to be ruled out for up to six months.
