Squad Update
20th January 2014 By Munster Rugby
The Munster players will take a well-earned one-week break from provincial duty ahead of the next PRO12 clash against Cardiff Blues on Saturday, 8th of February.
The international players will be meeting up with the rest of the Ireland squad in Carton House this week ahead of the forthcoming Six Nations Championship with Simon Zebo added to the initial squad.
Some of the international contingent could be in action this Saturday as an Anthony Foley-coached Irish Wolfhounds side face England Saxons at Kingsholm.
Keith Earls and Johnny Holland were the only two players that had to withdraw with injury over the weekend as Munster and Munster A played their final pool games in the Heineken Cup and B&I Cup.
Earls will have a scan on his left knee today and we should have a further update on the results of the scan later in the week.
Johnny Holland came off shortly after scoring Munster A’s second try with a rib injury but it is nothing serious.
The injured players will continue to follow their rehab programmes with the Munster medical staff as they look to regain full fitness.
