In Pics: Munster and Munster A Claim Weekend Wins

Munster produced their biggest win of the season on Saturday night at Thomond Park as they ran in six tries to beat Cardiff Blues 54-13 with Munster A overcoming Connacht Eagles on Friday.

JJ Hanrahan had a perfect night with the kicking tee and Munster's lead at the top of the PRO12 remains at three points after Leinster secured a bonus-point win of their own against Zebre yesterday.

Dave Kilcoyne touched down after 10 minutes but Cardiff were back on level terms when Owen Williams scored the Welsh side's only try after 13 minutes.

Munster's lead stood at only six points at the interval but a dominant second half performance that included five tries sealed an emphatic win for Rob Penney's side.

Munster A overcame a 13-0 deficit to beat Connacht Eagles 15-13 at the Sportsgrounds on Friday.

Academy players Darren Sweetnam, Shane Buckley, and UL Bohemians' Kevin O'Byrne were the try-scorers as Munster A made it seven wins out of eight games this season.
