Munster A To Face Connacht Eagles On Friday
3rd March 2014 By Munster Rugby
Munster A will host Connacht Eagles in an Interprovincial game at Dooradoyle on Friday at 3pm.
It will be the third time the sides meet this season and will be used by the A side as further preparation for the British and Irish Cup quarter-final away to Leinster A in Donnybrook on April 4th.
Munster A have won both previous clashes with Connacht and Head Coach Peter Malone is delighted that the game has been arranged.
He said: “It’s a great opportunity for our younger academy guys to get some experience and also for the senior guys to get some game-time.
“It’s a bit of a step-up from the All-Ireland League for guys so the pace and intensity of the games is a bit better. At this time of the year we tend to have younger teams out because there are a few internationals away and the senior team have a lot of the younger players playing Rabo."
Munster A v Connacht Eagles kicks off at Garryowen FC, Dooradoyle, on Friday at 3pm.
