Regional Development Squad In Action
12th March 2014 By Munster Rugby
Munster’s under-17 Regional Development Club Squads kicked off their season with two challenge matches against school sides last week.
The games against P.B.C and the C.B.C Bowen Shield side were played under lights in Lansdowne and Highfield with a great spirit of running, open rugby accompanied with a high level of competitiveness.
Munster Rugby would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate Highfield on their state-of-the-art lights and thank the club for allowing the Regional Development Squad and P.B.C to compete in the first ever match played at the new venue.
We would also like to congratulate C.B.C on their outstanding pitch which is up there with the best in the country allowing for a fast and flowing game of rugby.
The Regional Development Squad club programme will intensify in the summer months with two skills and weight sessions every week.
