Squad Update
7th April 2014 By Munster Rugby
Following on from a weekend of mixed results with defeat in the B&I Cup and an impressive Heineken Cup victory the squad reported for duty this morning in their respective centres, and had an afternoon of reviews and previews with Glasgow up next on Saturday.
Captain Peter O’Mahony underwent a scan earlier today and the injury to his left shoulder will be reviewed further tomorrow evening when he meets with a specialist. O’Mahony was replaced after 19 minutes on Saturday after over-extending his left shoulder.
It has been revealed that try-scorer Casey Laulala sustained a broken bone in his right hand and he too will meet with the specialist tomorrow for a further update.
There was positive news for academy prop Rory Burke, who sustained a neck injury in the B&I Cup game, after he received the all-clear following an x-ray and scan post-match.
