Competition Winners Set To Invade Marseille
24th April 2014 By Munster Rugby
The last week has seen Munster fans ‘face-off’ literally in a quest to win a trip to Marseille for Munster’s Heineken Cup semi-final against Toulon.
Munster Rugby invited supporters to take inspiration from the various expressions of Munster players during a match-week and send us an example of their own #gameface, #trainingface and #interviewface in pictures.
The response was massive as Munster supporters emailed and tweeted their three photos using the subject line #InvadeMarseille.
With the wide range of quality photos submitted supporters certainly showed their creative side and the winner was randomly selected this evening from all entries after the competition closed at 4pm.
Munster Rugby is delighted to congratulate Lisa Wynne from Killiney, Co. Dublin who will now enjoy all of the #InvadeMarseille excitement first-hand in the Stade Velodrome on Sunday afternoon.
Lisa is a passionate Munster Rugby fan and will travel to the game with her dad John who originally hails from Limerick.
The Munster Supporters Club also closed their two competitions today with long-serving member Dave Keyes from Limerick winning a place for himself and his brother (a fellow MRSC member) on Sunday’s flight to Marseille.
Dave renewed his membership during the week and was automatically entered into the draw for the Heineken Cup semi-final prize.
