Following James Downey’s departure from Munster, see some of the action shots from the inside centre’s two stints with the province.
Originally from Dublin, Downey played one season with Leinster and two with Connacht before a brief three game period with Munster in early 2006.
Following five highly successful years with Calvisano and Northampton Saints, he returned to Munster on a two-year contract at the start of the 2012/13 season, also going on to make his Irish senior debut against Canada on the North American tour in June 2013.
