Red Army As Strong As Ever For 2014/15

Following a surge of applications in recent weeks, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club enters next season in line with this year’s figure of over eight and a half thousand members.

Munster fans enter 2014/15 with much anticipation as the province plays in the inaugural European Champions Cup, qualification for which will in turn place a greater emphasis on PRO12 success. Both campaigns will also be played under the stewardship of new Head Coach Anthony Foley and his management team. Such anticipation was reflected in the uptake of season tickets, with members purchasing almost 7,000 PRO12 and over 5,000 Champions Cup season tickets.

PRO12 and Champions Cup fixtures will be announced in July, and with the redevelopment of Musgrave Park underway, matches are likely to be held in Cork later in the season to allow time for the completion of the new stand.

Speaking following the closure for membership, MRSC Manager Jennifer Kiernan said;
