Vacancy: Sub-Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach

Leinster Rugby would like to invite applications for the position of "Sub-Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach".
This role is based in Dublin and the successful candidate will be expected to provide specialist support in the area of physical conditioning to sub-academy and nominated age-grade players while reporting directly to the Provincial and IRFU Heads of Fitness. The Sub-Academy S&C Coach will also liaise and work with the Academy Manager and coaching staff on all Fitness related issues within the Leinster Sub-Academy Squad.
Essential criteria include for this position include:
- Recognised degree or Higher National Diploma in Physical Education, Human Movement or Sports Science.
- A recognised professional certification in strength and conditioning.
- Excellent coaching skills and at least 1 year previous relevant coaching experience with team players in the area of strength, power training and development.
- Excellent organisation, communication and team-working skills.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft office packages. This should include effective skills in data management, analysis and reporting via Microsoft Excel.
- An understanding of training science and how it pertains to current strength and conditioning practices in high performance sport.
