See the pictures as Munster take to the training field at CIT in the final countdown to the opening game of the season away to Gloucester.

Now into Week 8 of preseason, Head Coach Anthony Foley will this week name his first matchday squad, as Munster travel to Kingsholm to play Gloucester in a pre-season friendly on Saturday at 3pm.

Speaking at CIT this afternoon, Munster scrum half Duncan Williams is wary of the challenge the English Premiership side pose.

“Travelling to Gloucester is always tough and we know ourselves the quality of Laurie Fisher (former Munster Forwards Coach) as a coach. Gloucester have already played a pre-season game (beating Yorkshire Carnegie 62-19) so are a week ahead of us in preparation. The game will be a good test of us and where we are.”
