Munster kick-off their 2014/15 Guinness PRO12 season tomorrow night against Edinburgh Rugby in Thomond Park at 7.30pm.

Tickets
Tickets are currently on sale for this game online here and will be on sale from the Mobile Ticket Office in the new Fan Zone Plaza on Friday from 9am and from the West Stand Ticket booth from 5.30pm.
Please note that the North and South Terraces will remain closed for this game.
Traffic & Travel
Please note that due to the visit of the Royal de Luxe Giant Granny to Limerick at the weekend, extensive road closures will be in place in the city centre. Traffic from the Cork side via the tunnel should be unaffected, however traffic through the city centre will be affected.
Buses
Bus Eireann – the 302 service will run at 20 min intervals from the Strand Hotel, Ennis Road Limerick (Not Henry Street due to road closures)
Park and Ride will be in operation from the following locations:
- Southcourt hotel from 5.15pm
- Kilmurry Lodge from 5pm
- Radisson Blue from 5.30pm
Supporters can pre-book their parking online for the Q-Park at Harvey’s Quay online at www.q-park.ie
There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium.
Event Information
We welcome back Limerick singer Sinead O’Brien who will perform pre-match, and at half-time we look forward to welcoming the U11’s from Galbally RFC and Garryowen FC
Match programmes, costing €;4, will be on sale outside and inside the stadium. The digital version will be available to download from Friday via Newstand on apple devices.
Thomond Park are delighted to be unveiling the new Fan Zone Plaza outside the East Stand, with the new Bank of Ireland Family Funzone open to younger supporters. Come along and check out the choice of food and beverages. There’s something for everyone in the new plaza with the new Guinness Dug Out Bar open from 5.30pm. There is plenty of choice when it comes to food and beverages also.
The Munster Rugby Stores will be open at the stadium on Friday – the East Stand store open from 4.30pm, and the Mobile unit outside the West Stand from 5.30pm.
The Museum is moving to the Family Zone Plaza, but it won’t be open for this game on Friday.
Stadium Information
No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.
Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.
There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
