Keatley Calls Home
7th October 2014 By Munster Rugby
Following a 23-34 victory over Leinster on Saturday night, the following day Munster’s Ian Keatley returned to the rugby club where it all began for him as kid.
Following his try scoring performance in the AVIVA Stadium, the Dublin native was on a well-deserved rest day from training with Munster and used the time to visit his childhood club – Suttonians RFC.
Coincidentally both Keatley and Duncan Williams have nephews on the Suttonians' U7s side so both players took part in the team's Sunday morning session and hung around afterwards to sign some autographs.
Keatley was also on hand to present Jean Loughney with the 'Player of the Week' trophy.
"Hands up if you want to ask Ian and Duncan a question!"
