The Munster squad trained in UL yesterday as they look to build momentum from last weekend’s win away to Leinster. See the action shots here.

Munster return to Thomond Park this Friday to face Scarlets in Round 6 of the Guinness PRO12. Speaking after training yesterday, Assistant Coach Ian Costello referenced the importance of Munster supporters in driving the team on.

“I think it’s important to acknowledge the support we have got to this point. I know there’s been a lot of talk about it. A lot of people have shown up and given us a lot of support. Hopefully last Saturday was a little bit of a reward for those supporters. It was a big lift for the squad against Leinster. If that was reflected in Thomond Park, hopefully we can put in another performance that they can identify with, and I think that’s what supporters want – they want to see a performance that’s physical, hard-working and putting opposition under pressure with the way we play. Hopefully that’s what we can do on Friday night and people will come out and watch it.”
