Munster A captain Jack O’Donoghue chats about his season to date and he previews his side’s British & Irish Cup fixture away to Nottingham tomorrow night – KO 8pm.
After captaining Ireland U20s to their best ever finish (4th) at a Junior World Championship during the summer, an impressive start to the current season has seen the year three Academy number 8 earn two senior competitive appearances in the Guinness PRO12 (against Zebre and Ospreys) and lead Munster A for the 2014/15 season.
With one win (to Moseley) and one loss (to Worcester Warriors) under their belt, the Waterford native will again lead Munster A into battle this weekend as they travel to Meadow Lane to face Nottingham in Round three of the British & Irish Cup.
Nottingham for their part will look to avenge opening defeats to Worcester Warriors and more recently Moseley.
