Ticket & Matchday Info: Munster V Saracens

Munster host Saracens in Pool 1 of the European Champions Cup at battle ready Thomond Park tomorrow night – KO 7:45pm.

Tickets

A limited number of tickets from €;30 are still available for this game online here and at the Munster Rugby Ticket Offices in Musgrave Park and Thomond Park.

Unless already sold out, tickets can also be purchased at Thomond Park on matchday from the Ticket Office located at the East Stand from 10am, and from the West Stand Ticket Booth from 5:45pm.

Event Information

The new Fan Zone Plaza will be up and running from 5pm complete with live band, while the Guinness Dug Out Bar will also open from 5pm.

There’s lots of activity for all the family – the Bank Of Ireland Family Fun Zone will be open for our younger supporters. You can try out being Munster’s “Sponsor for a Day” and get your photo taken with your name on the front of the jersey with the help of Bank Of Ireland.

Live 95FM will be on location playing the latest hits, and there will be plenty of choice in terms of food and beverages. The newly revamped Munster Rugby Museum will also be open from 5pm.

Life Style Sports will be helping supporters in the Fanzone Plaza to send your messages of support to the team. Go visit them in the Fanzone, write your message of support on a board provided, have your photo taken, and the photo will be uploaded onto twitter immediately!

Come and along and check out the new Fanzone, built with you in mind!

The stadium turnstiles open at 5.45pm, with all bars inside the ground opening at the same time.

We welcome back Jean Wallace who will perform pre-match, as well as the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir. The Hit Machine drumming group will be welcomed to Thomond Park for the first time, and we’ve been told Oscar is working on something special for the occasion!

At half time Rugbai Chorca Dhuibhne and Thomond RFC U11’s take to the field.

Match programmes, costing €;5, will be on sale outside and inside the stadium.

The Munster Rugby Stores will be open at the stadium – the East Stand store open from 5pm, and the Mobile unit outside the West Stand from 5.45pm.

Stadium Information

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Traffic & Travel

Supporters – Please take note of roadworks and disruptions in Buttevant, Co. Cork. There is a stop/go system in place that will finish at 5pm on Friday. There are diversions in place via Doneraile. Please allow sufficient time for your journey.

Train
Irish Rail have put on an additional service from Cork to Limerick for Fridays game. This additional service leaves Limerick Station at 22.35hrs arriving back into Cork at 00.05 Friday night/Saturday morning. Parking
Supporters can pre-book their parking online for the Q-Park at Harvey’s Quay online at www.q-park.ie
Please note: there is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium.

Weather in Limerick

A few showers expected on Friday evening but it’s expected to be dry for the game. Temperatures around 9 degrees on Friday evening.
