In Pics: Munster V Saracens

See the action shots from last night’s 14-3 win over Saracens in Pool 1 of the European Champions Cup at Thomond Park.
New competition but same old Munster at a sold out Thomond Park as the team treated a wonderfully vocal home crowd to an intensive, controlled and disciplined performance.
When Sarries rallied they impressed, notably out wide, but Munster held their shape and composure throughout, earning the lion’s share of possession and the most turnovers in the game.
With Andrew Conway unlucky to have a try disallowed by the TMO for an apparent knock on, Munster, still with the advantage, made full use of the subsequent penalty, line out and maul with Dave Kilcoyne touching down for his second try in two games.
Quick service, clever kicking and good marshalling of the forwards saw Conor Murray presented with the Man of the Match accolade and Ian Keatley was also on hand to add another dropgoal and two penalties.
