In Pics: Munster Train In UL

See the training shots as Munster prepare for a return to Guinness PRO12 action this weekend, and get the thoughts of centre Andrew Smith ahead of Saturday’s game away to Cardiff Blues.
Following on from Friday’s 14-3 win over Saracens in Pool 1 of the European Champions Cup, the Munster squad – minus the ten players called up to the Ireland November Series squad – gathered for training in UL yesterday as the focus switches back to Guinness PRO12 action for the month November.
Since his arrival at the province in August, Andrew Smith has featured in every competitive game of the season to date, and the Australian native looked ahead to the challenge of Cardiff Blues this weekend.
“Cardiff we be a tough challenge, especially at home so we’re going to have to be switched on. Like us, they’ve had some good wins in Europe over the past couple of weeks so they’ll be buoyed by that.
“Ten players away on national duty can leave a big hole in the team, but that’s where guys need to step up both on the field and in terms of leadership – driving the group on and maintaining the standards of the past few weeks.”
