See the action shots as Munster A made it back to back wins over Nottingham in Pool 3 of the British & Irish Cup at Temple Hill on Saturday.

With Nottingham in the ascendancy for most of the game, the province rallied mid-way through the second half with a Jack O’Donoghue try and penalty try contributing to Munster A’s eventual 23-16 win.

Head Coach Mick O’Driscoll spoke after the game. “We had a very slow and poor start, whereas Nottingham were a lot better than us in the first half. They came over here to play rugby and they impressed and I thought that we were a bit soft in the first half.

“We let them play all the rugby, we couldn’t hold on to the ball, we weren’t accurate at the breakdown and that just killed us.

“Start of the second half we improved slightly and then we had a period of about ten minutes where things just went our way and that was to prove the difference.”

The win sees Munster A remain second in Pool 3, five points adrift of pool toppers Worcester Warriors whom they welcome to the CIT Sports Stadium on Friday night.
