Munster’s introduction to 2015 was a disappointing affair when suffering a 24-16 defeat to Connacht at the Sportsground on New Year’s Day.
In failing to secure a losing bonus point Munster remained on 37 points after the round 12 encounter, in third position in the table with Glasgow and Ospreys, first and second respectively, also unchanged after suffering away defeats over the weekend.
