In Pics: Gearing Up For Edinburgh
8th April 2015 By Munster Rugby
With all of Munster’s returning internationals in contention for selection this weekend, the squad trained in the April sun at CIT yesterday. See our training gallery and get the pre-match thoughts of Head Coach Anthony Foley here.

Foley spoke with media following training yesterday, “I’d be disappointed if the lads don’t hit the ground running at the weekend. They know the task at hand, Edinburgh are a very good side and were very impressive against London Irish at the weekend. We understand what we have to do, but it’s actually doing it that’s key.
“They (Edinburgh) have another big European game on the horizon but that won’t take their focus off this weekend. They’re playing at home and there’s only a few games left, so just like us they are fighting for a European place next season. They’re currently toe to toe with Connacht for 6th spot and will be keeping their eye on the ball. We expect them to put in a big performance this weekend.
“I was over in London on Sunday and saw the intense physicality that they brought to the game and it didn’t drop off when the subs came on. They have a large and strong side across the board and that’s proven by what they’ve done to other sides this season, including us.
“It’s up to us to stand firm and bring our own game to them this weekend.”
Edinburgh v Munster, Guinness PRO12 Round 19, Saturday April 11th at Murrayfield Stadium – KO 7:30pm.
