As Munster continued preparations for the arrival of Benetton Treviso at Irish Independent Park next weekend, the Munster ‘A’ side also prepared for tomorrow’s interprovincial against the Ulster Ravens at Banbridge – KO 5pm. See our gallery from yesterday’s training session at CIT here.
A couple of recent game-free weekends afforded ‘A’ Head Coach Mick O’Driscoll the opportunity to field two particularity strong ‘A’ sides against the Ravens in Nenagh and the Connacht Eagles in Thomond Park – Munster winning out on both occasions.
O’Driscoll is expected to include another large senior representation when he names his side for the return visit to Ulster later today.
Also in attendance at training yesterday was Franco Ascione, Technical Director of the Italian Rugby. Ascione spends a couple of days with the squad this week, sharing a number of his insights with the Munster coaching staff.
