North Munster Cadets’ Information Evening

Munster Rugby recently held a parent/player information evening for the candidates who have been invited to join the North Munster Cadets 2015 summer programme, after successfully coming through a number of player identification screenings.

The North Munster cadet group will feed into the U-17 development squad along with the south, east and west groups next summer.

The players, born in 2000, are entering the first rung on the provincial player development pathway and will hope to progress to the winter programme and eventually onto the Munster Youths panel.

During the eight-week summer programme they will train twice a week for two hours which will involve rugby skills under the direction of Coach Development Officer Noel O'Meara and strength and conditioning training under the direction of Fergal O'Callaghan.

The aim is to provide the expertise and an environment of development where the players can excel to the best of their ability.
