Fitzgerald & Oliver To Start Against Wales

The Ireland U20 team to play Wales in the 5th place playoff of the World Rugby U20 World Championship has been named. The Greencore Munster Academy’s Stephen Fitzgerald and Conor Oliver will both start with Liam O’Connor and Tomás Quinlan named amongst the replacements.
In total, there are five changes to the team that lost out to New Zealand in the final game of Pool C.
Ciaran Gaffney makes a return to the starting XV at full back with Fitzgerald taking his position on the wing.
Charlie Rock is named at scrum half, replacing injured captain Nick McCarthy.
Upfront, Oliver is named in the back row along with Nick Timoney who starts at number 8.
Josh Murphy will captain the side.
