Fans Turn Out For Ireland Open Training Session
29th July 2015 By Munster Rugby
Over 3000 fans turned up at a sunny Irish Independent Park this morning to watch the extended Ireland training squad continue their World Cup preparations under the watchful eye of Head Coach Joe Schmidt.
As supporters started to fill the west stand players made their way out for the initial stretch before gathering for the squad warm-up under the direction of the IRFU’s S&C Coach Jason Cowman.
The players then moved in to their specific training drills for over an hour with the fans more than entertained with the exclusive behind-the-scenes action, cheering on their Irish heroes at every opportunity.
Once the training session was complete the squad were on hand for a supporter meet and greet where players took their time in going around to all the supporters signing autographs and standing in for selfies.
