Look back at Saturday night’s action from Irish Independent Park in Cork as Munster got their 2015/16 Guinness PRO12 campaign off to a winning start with an 18-13 win over Benetton Treviso.

Leading by example, captain on the night CJ Stander crossed for Munster’s two tries in a Man of the Match winning performance with Ian Keatley adding two penalties and a conversion. The Italians also impressed for much of the game, Dean Budd scoring the game’s opening try with Jayden Hayward landing a conversion and two penalties – the second of which secured a losing bonus point for the visitors in the final action of the game.

New Zealander Tyler Bleyendaal saw his first PRO12 action in the red of Munster, as did Shane Monahan and the academy’s David Johnston and John Madigan.
