With 90 appearances for Munster in which he scored 10 tries and captained the province on 6 occasions, we look back at the illustrious playing career of Felix Jones, a career that also saw the 28 year old achieve numerous honours at international level.

It was announced in the last hour that Jones is to retire from rugby on medical grounds following an honours laden career that saw him spend two years in the Leinster Academy prior to joining Munster in 2009 where he would play an instrumental role across the subsequent seven seasons and win a Magners League title in 2011.

A member of the Ireland U20 squad that claimed the 2007 Grand Slam, the Sandycove native also represented Ireland Sevens, Ireland ‘A’, Ireland Wolfhounds and Ireland, and can count the 2009 Churchill Cup and 2015 RBS 6 Nations amongst his international achievements.
