Speaking after the Interprovincial win on Friday, captain CJ Stander commented,

“It’s one of those games where you have to front up from the start – you cannot afford to sit back. Both teams stood up today and thankfully we came out on top.

“We had a good defence but our attack was impressive also. We got over the gain line with success and our kicks and chasers were on the money.

“We’re now linking up as a team. We missed that during the first few rounds. Six rounds in and the backs are playing some great rugby and pack are presenting them with some great ball and that’s what we need to continue to do.”

Munster now travel to face Edinburgh at Murrayfield this Saturday – KO 5:15pm.
