Thomond Park Scoops Best Business Award

Thomond Park Stadium were amongst the award winners at the recent 2015 Limerick Chamber Regional Best Business Awards, picking up the top accolade in the Best Sport, Art & Culture category.

Limerick Chamber supports and represents the interests of over 450 businesses in the mid-west region. Now in their fifth year, the awards recognise and celebrate business success across all sectors and sizes from SME’s right up to multinationals.

Winners on the night were decided by a panel of judges, consisting of Chamber board members and senior management representatives from the event sponsors.

Award categories included Best Emerging Business, Best Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Service Business and many more, with Thomond Park receiving the top accolade in the Best Sport, Art & Culture category.

Winners in all categories were announced at the Annual President’s Dinner in Limerick’s Strand Hotel last Friday. The event was attended by over 430 of the region’s top business leaders and government officials with Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan TD, on hand to give the keynote address.
