Official opening of Thomond National School
Following the amalgamation of St Munchin’s CBS, St Munchin’s girl’s primary school and St Lelia’s infant school, local man and Munster winger Keith Earls joined Minister for Education Jan O’Sullivan at the opening of the brand new Thomond Primary School in Limerick this week. The newly amalgamated school will now cater for over 200 students.
Speaking at the event, Earls said, “A lot of fellas like to go back to their roots. It keeps you grounded a bit. This school is just a stone’s throw from my house, and it’s great to come back and see some old faces.”
