Squad Update

Following on from Sunday’s Champions Cup and British and Irish Cup action the medical team reported a number of bumps and bruises including the following injury update.
Conor Murray sustained a hip pointer during the round four encounter and the scrumhalf's progress will be reviewed as the week continues.
Dave O'Callaghan sustained an adductor injury and after undergoing a scan yesterday the Youghal-man will meet with the specialist on Wednesday.
Academy player Rory Scannell sustained a dead leg and is expected to train later in the week.
BJ Botha (concussion) and Donnacha Ryan, who was a late withdrawal from the match-day squad due to illness, are both expected to return to training tomorrow.
Tyler Bleyendaal will continue to be monitored for a tight quad this week and his participation in training will be reviewed.
The Munster squad to take on Leinster in round ten of the Guinness PRO12 on Sunday December 27th at Thomond Park will be named on Christmas Eve at midday.
