Joining us at Thomond Park for Sunday’s Interprovincial Christmas Cracker? Here’s the latest ticket, travel and matchday information as Munster return to league action and welcome old rivals Leinster to Thomond Park for Round 10 of the Guinness PRO12 – KO 5.15pm.

Tickets start from €;20 for Adults, €;60 for Families or €;10 for Students and are available to buy:

  • online here
  • Ticketmaster van in Thomond Park’s Fan Zone Plaza on match day from 12pm
  • West Stand Ticket Booth at Thomond Park from 3.15pm on match day

Event Information

The Charity Match
This match is Munster’s annual Charity Match – with Munster supporting its official charities for the season – Children’s Medical & Research Foundation Crumlin, and HEADWAY. One euro from every match programme sold will be donated to the charities, so your support is greatly welcome. The charities will also be presented with signed Munster jerseys at half time by members of the squad.

Pre-Match
Jean Wallace from Newcastle West, Co. Limerick returns to perform Stand Up and Fight pre-match, along with the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir. The dynamic Hit Machine drumming group will also take to the field before kick-off.

Stadium Information
Open from 2pm, make the Fan Zone Plaza your pre-match meeting point. Enjoy live music in the Guinness Dug Out Bar and great food from a wide range of artisan vendors

There will be lots of activity in the Fan Zone Plaza including the Bank of Ireland Family Funzone which will be open for our younger supporters. Lorcan Murray will be on the decks with Live 95FM also on location. Our mascot Oscar is looking forward to meeting everyone and our younger supporters can put their rugby skills to the test in the 'Tackle Cage Challenge', 'Tak' Reaction Board and much more!

The stadium turnstiles will be open from 3.15pm, with all bars and food outlets inside the ground open at the same time.

The Munster Rugby Stores will be open at the stadium – the East Stand store open from 3pm, and the Mobile unit outside the West Stand from 3.15pm.

Please note:

  • No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.
  • Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.
  • There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Irish Rail

Outward journey
Those travelling from Kent Station, Cork on matchday can choose from a wide variety of departure times including 8:20, 10:20,12:20, 13:20 and 15:20.

Return journey
Those returning to Cork after the game can choose between the 19:55 and 22:15 service.
