In Pics: Strong Win For Development XV

See the stars of tomorrow as a Munster Development XV took on Ireland U20s at Irish Independent Park in Cork yesterday.

Played in less than favourable conditions for running rugby, the Mick O’Driscoll coached Development XV nonetheless impressed in running 6 tries past their Irish counterparts and securing a deserved 38-14 win.

With a side that consisted of senior, academy and club talent, Munster’s tries came from Joe White, Johnny Holland, Paul Kiernan, Gavin Coombes, Ollie Lyons and Steven McMahon, with Holland and Gearoid Lyons adding one and three conversions respectively.

The game also saw three Munster representatives – Sean O'Leary, Kelvin Browne and Bill Johnston – line out for Ireland U20s.
