Munster In The Community

Munster players meet fans, visit schools and lend support to club and charity initiatives across the province.

CJ Stander visits MRSC Bar
CJ Stander, who last weekend was on a break from International duty, returned home to Limerick to watch Munster in Guinness PRO12 action against Dragons at Thomond Park.  Before kick-off, CJ paid a visit the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Bar and was delighted to meet MRSC members and fans alike.

Conor Murray visits Garryowen FC
Conor Murray also took advantage of some international down-time and visited his childhood club, Garryowen FC, for whom he started playing at the age of 12.  The Munster, Ireland and Lions scrum-half met and chatted with the next generation of Garryowen players coming through, signed autographs and posed for selfies.
 

 
Bank of Ireland School Visit
Dave O’Callaghan was another who took a trip down memory lane when revisiting his old school Midleton College.  Kevin O’Byrne and Tomas O’Leary joined O’Callaghan on the school visit and the trio were accompanied by Bank of Ireland representative and All Ireland winner for Kerry, Killian Young. The group engaged in a question and answer session and afterwards made time to meet the students and take photos.


 
Crosshaven U18s Sevens Tournament
Darren Sweetnam, Billy Holland and Cian Bohane were on hand to help promote the third annual Crosshaven U18s Sevens tournament which will take place in the club on Saturday April 23rd
