Supporting Our Nominated Charity CMRF Crumlin
2nd April 2016 By Munster Rugby
In making the journey to Dublin for the round 19 Guinness PRO12 tie against Leinster, the Munster squad used the opportunity to support nominated charity Children’s Medical & Research Foundation Crumlin and paid a visit to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.
In getting the opportunity to visit patients, families and staff the visit was a hugely rewarding and worthwhile experience in further highlighting the work that is carried out in the hospital on a daily basis and in supporting fundraising efforts for The No. 10 Fund.
The No. 10 Fund will improve cardiac care by investing in life-saving research; vital equipment and ensuring that Ireland's sickest children have the best facilities possible.
Every year in Ireland 500-600 infants are born with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD). All of these children are treated in Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin (OLCHC).
Will you join their team and be part of The No. 10 Fund? More details can be found here.
