In meeting with media following the session, Head Coach Anthony Foley previewed Saturday’s challenge in Galway.
“We understand that each game is vital now but it’s important that we focus in on them game by game and not focus on all three at the same time (Connacht, Edinburgh and Scarlets).
“We need to make sure that our guys are good to go and are fully up to speed on the systems that we have in place for each game and then we need to play.
“We can’t go up and hope that something will happen, we need to play to our best this weekend.
“The Sportsground has become a hard place to go for all teams this season and we’re fully aware of that. Connacht’s excellent home record has been building for a number of seasons. We were lucky to come away with wins when Eric Elwood and Michael Bradley were in charge but what you have now is a Connacht side who are playing with belief and they know how to win. They play an open brand of rugby which is nice to watch and requires you to be very diligent in preparing for it.”
