Wearing of the Green Ballad Festival

The Wearing of the Green Ballad Festival comes to Thomond Park’s Fanzone Plaza on Saturday May 14th 2016.

The event promises to be a night of celebration for the people of Limerick with the ballads and songs of times past.  A fantastic night of pride and celebration of all that we love about being Irish through a rousing catalogue of songs spanning back over the decades.
 
A remarkable line up of some of Ireland’s very best ballad singers and musicians will feature at this unique Ballad Festival to honour and celebrate the Centenary of 1916.
