With 13 Munster players named in the Ireland squad for Rounds 1 & 2 of the impending 6 Nations, the coming weeks will see significant academy representation in squad sessions as they compete with their senior counterparts for matchday inclusion over the coming eight weeks.

Speaking to MunsterRugby.ie this week, Duncan Williams looked ahead to Friday’s sell out clash at Myreside, “We played them earlier in the year and I think the scoreline flattered us. It took us a good while to break them down so we’ve no doubt it’s going to be a hard game again.”
