See our latest training shots and get the pre-match thoughts of Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus as Munster get set for the top of the table Guinness PRO12 clash with Ospreys on Saturday (5.15pm).
Swansea’s Liberty Stadium will be the focal point for the round 15 encounter as first-placed Munster travel to defend their one-point lead over Ospreys.
Although coming into the game as table toppers, a tough task awaits in looking to take points from the Welsh club who have won all but one of their home games with a try-scoring bonus point this season.
Speaking ahead of the fixture Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus noted “playing a team like Ospreys away from home is a very tough challenge in this league.
“We’re playing a team knowing that they will go top of the table if they beat us so it’s a massive challenge.
“Both sides have to handle international players coming in and out especially with the bye week in the 6 Nations. More players should be available and that will influence preparation and selection this week.
“We have eight games left in the PRO12 and if you lose one or two the pressure is on just to be in the top four so that’s in the back of your head because you know you need to get points if you want to be still there in May.
“It just means you can’t take your eye off the ball and that’s where we have to look at it game by game because Ospreys are a classic example of a team that can rip you apart if you let anything slip.”
