Francis Saili Citing Decision

A Disciplinary Panel convened in Edinburgh today (February 22, 2017) to review a Citing Complaint against Francis Saili (No 13) of Munster Rugby for alleged foul play – Law 10.4 (e) Dangerous Tackling of an opponent – in the Round 15 fixture versus Ospreys Rugby.

The Disciplinary Panel was made up of Kathrine Mackie (Chair), Roddy Dunlop and Robert Milligan (Scotland) while the player appeared by video link along with Team Manager Niall O'Donovan and a legal representative for the club.

The Panel did find an act of foul play had been committed, however, the Panel was satisfied that it did not pass the red card test. Therefore, the player is free to play this weekend.

Francis Saili is available for selection for Friday night's Guinness PRO12 game against Scarlets at Thomond Park.
