The latest ticket, travel and matchday information for Saturday afternoon’s Guinness PRO12 clash in Thomond Park where Munster host Ulster – KO 3pm.

Tickets

Tickets start from €20 for Adults, €40 for Families and €7 for Juniors and are available to buy:

  • online here,
  • from the Munster Rugby Ticket Offices at Thomond Park and Irish Independent Park, or
  • by calling 061 42110
  • from the ticket office in Thomond Park from 9am on match day.

Pre-Match & Half-Time
We welcome the MRSC Choir who will perform before kick-off along with Jean Wallace.  The MRSC Guard of Honour will be present to welcome the teams onto the pitch. Our half-time adapted rugby display will feature Garryowen Lions v Seapoint Dragons and Mallow Barbarians v De La Salle Palmerstown. We will also welcome Niamh Briggs and Niamh Kavanagh from the Ireland Women’s team as part of the Women’s Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour.

Stadium Information
Open from12:30pm, make our brand new covered Pavilion on the Fan Zone your pre-match meeting point. We will also have player meet and greets from 2:10pm, plus you can soak up the atmosphere in the Guinness Dug Out Bar and enjoy great food from a wide range of artisan vendors.

In celebrating #MunsterFamilyWeek there will be lots of activity in the Fan Zone including the Bank of Ireland Family Funzone which will be open for our younger supporters. Spin South West will be on location and our mascot Oscar is looking forward to meeting younger supporters. Plus they can put their rugby skills to the test in the ‘Tackle Cage Challenge’, ‘Tak’ Reaction Board and much more!

The Munster Rugby Museum Experience is open from 1pm, until before kick-off.

The Women’s Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour will visit Thomond Park this weekend. The Tour commenced on March 17th and will visit every county in Ireland as part of its journey to the final at Kingspan Stadium August 26th. Call into the Fanzone before the game for your chance to see the silverware.

The Munster Rugby Supporters Club will in the Fanzone with the #NoClubWithoutU Message Board.  You are invited to sign the board which will be presented to the Munster Squad in advance of the Champions Cup semi final. The MRSC will also answer queries in relation to Memberships and Season Tickets for the 2017/18 season.

The stadium turnstiles will be open from 1:30pm with all bars and food outlets inside the ground open at the same time.

‘Tap and go’ – Contactless payments are now available throughout Thomond Park for amounts up to €30.

The Munster Rugby Stores will be open at the stadium with the East Stand store open from 12:30pm, and the Mobile unit outside the West Stand also open from 12:30pm.

After the game there will be live music from Tree’s Fall Down in the Pavilion on the Fan Zone, with bars and catering facilities in the fan zone also open after the game.

Please note:

  • No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.
  • Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found
  • There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Traffic & Travel

Trains

Irish Rail have services from both Dublin and Cork to Limerick on the day of the match.

Buses

Bus Eireann  will run services to Limerick on the day of the match. Full details of times and fares are available at www.buseireann.ie

Dublin Coach will provide a return bus service to Limerick from Dublin and Ennis, Killarney and Tralee. Fares vary between €5 and €10 one way with 2 kids u-12 traveling free with every paying adult. It is advised that all passengers book online to guarantee their seat for time of travel www.dublincoach.ie

CityLink will provide a return bus service to Limerick from Cork and Galway. Fares for a return journey start at €13.30 and can be booked online at http://www.citylink.ie/.

The public bus service (Bus Eireann) from Henry Street (bus no. 302) runs every 20 minutes to Thomond Park.

Q-Park is Munster’s parking destination for all matches at Thomond Park this season. Those attending matches can book their parking online and get big discounts. There are 2 parking products that supporters can choose from. 8hrs parking for only €5 or 24hrs parking for only €7. Simply click here, select your preferred parking product and book!

There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium.
