Once again this year a Munster Development team will face Ireland U20 in Thomond Park as the national side continues its build up to the World Rugby U20 Championship in Georgia this June.

The game takes place on the main pitch at Thomond Park on Saturday May 13 at 1.30pm and affords emerging players a final chance to impress ahead of selection for the World Rugby showcase event.

With a similar fixture also due to take place in Leinster, across the two games, every eligible player will play for Ireland and/or their province.

Last year’s corresponding fixture saw the Munstermen just hold on for a 26-24 victory in a highly entertaining game that yielded eight tries.
