Munster Rugby Awards Almost Here

The 2017 Munster Rugby Awards take place as part of a lunchtime event at the Maryborough Hotel in Cork this Thursday May 4th. Those wishing to book the last remaining tables must do so by midday on Wednesday.
For the fifth year running the Irish Independent will sponsor the Awards with all proceeds raised going towards Munster’s nominated charities this season – The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and Diabetes Ireland.
The annual event celebrates the best of Domestic and Professional rugby within the province, recognising both individual feats and those of clubs and schools on and off the field. Eleven diverse categories will be honoured, ranging from Munster Rugby Player and Young Player of the Year through to emerging Academy talent, Women’s Player, Referee, Clubs and Schools.
The event will culminate with the announcement of Munster Rugby’s Player of the Year for which Tyler Bleyendaal, John Ryan and Niall Scannell are all in contention. As with previous seasons, the winner will be decided by the public with voting lines now closed.

3 Course Meal in the Maryborough Hotel, Cork.
There will also be a raffle of Munster Rugby prizes on the day with all proceeds going to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and Diabetes Ireland.
