Following the weekend’s action across the British & Irish Cup and the Champions Cup the medical department reported the expected bumps and bruises after two hugely physical encounters against the Bedford Blues and Leicester Tigers.

The players will return to the High Performance Centre in Limerick tomorrow as preparations commence for the respective return legs in Bedford and Leicester.

On a positive note Tommy O’Donnell played the full 80 for Munster A in Cork on Friday night after successfully rehabbing an AC joint injury sustained in early November.

Moving on to Saturday’s game, Andrew Conway and Rhys Marshall both sustained concussions and the duo are following return to play protocols.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that academy prop Liam O’Connor requires further consultation with a specialist for the knee injury sustained in the PRO14 game against Ospreys in Cork.

Continuing to rehab: Tyler Bleyendaal (neck), Ronan O’Mahony (fibula), Gerbrandt Grobler (ankle), Conor Oliver (shoulder), Dan Goggin (knee), Dave O’Callaghan (knee), Jaco Taute (knee), Niall Scannell (thumb), Keith Earls (hamstring), James Cronin (calf), Chris Farrell (knee).
