Munster suffered their second defeat of the festive period with a 24-17 loss to Ulster at the Kingspan Stadium on New Year’s Day.
After a promising start that saw the men in red go in 17-nil at the break a resurgent Ulster produced a four-try turnaround while holding a numerical advantage, with Fineen Wycherley picking up a yellow and Sammy Arnold issued with a red card after 58 minutes.

The defeat may prove to be more costly with Billy Holland, Calvin Nash, Niall Scannell, Tommy O’Donnell and James Cronin all departing the game with knocks.
