Champions Cup Match Officials Appointed

The match officials for Munster’s final two Pool 4 Champions Cup clashes have today been announced.

Matthew Carley of England has been appointed for our clash with Racing 92 Sunday, January 14 (4.15pm local time). The match will be the first European fixture staged at Racing’s magnificent new stadium, the U Arena.

The crucial final encounter of the pool stages against Castres Olympique at Thomond Park on Sunday, Januray 21 (1pm) will be refereed by Ben Whitehouse of Wales.

The province top Champions Cup Pool 4 with 15 points from four games and are undefeated with three wins and a draw – away to Castres Olympique.

Munster defeated Racing 92 14-7 in the opener and drew 17-all in Castres before the outstanding double win over Leicester Tigers that saw the province become the first side to beat Leicester in both games of the double-headers since they were introduced in 1999.
