Tommy O'Donnell has moved closer to a return from injury.

The Munster squad returned to training at the High Performance Centre in UL today ahead of Friday night’s clash against Glasgow Warriors at Irish Independent Park (7pm).

Tickets are available from just €7 with Family packs (two adults and two children) available for just €40. You can purchase tickets online, from the Munster Rugby Ticket Offices at Thomond Park and Irish Independent Park, or by calling 061 421103.

Tyler Bleyendaal came through his return to action with no issues after making his comeback from a neck injury in Cardiff on Saturday night.

Tommy O’Donnell has moved closer to a return to action after sustaining an AC joint injury against Ulster on New Year’s Day.

Ronan O’Mahony will undergo a scan to assess a shoulder knock sustained against Cardiff on Saturday night.

Niall Scannell, who was training with Ireland last week, remains in national camp.

Andrew Conway has returned to Ireland camp ahead of the 6 Nations clash against Wales on Saturday afternoon.

Academy prop Liam O’Connor has undergone surgery on the knee injury he sustained against Ospreys in December.

There were a large number of senior and Academy players in All Ireland League action at the weekend.

Senior hooker Kevin O’Byrne featured for Cork Constitution in their narrow defeat to Young Munster on Saturday.

Greencore Munster Rugby Academy players Gavin Coombes (no.8) and Alan Tynan (full-back) both touched down for Young Munster in the 15-11 victory.

Three Munster players were in action for Garryowen at the weekend as they defeated UCD 17-0 at the Belfield Bowl. Senior player Dave Johnston and Academy players Liam Coombes (wing) and Sean O’Connor (lock) featured in the win.

Academy full-back Jack Power started for Clontarf in their 19-18 loss to Terenure College.

Academy prop Rob O’Donovan helped UCC to a 22-19 victory over Old Wesley.

Prop Joey Conway was a try-scorer for UL Bohs with another prop, Keynan Knox, among the replacements as they recorded a 26-22 victory over Shannon.

Out-half Conor Fitzgerald kicked five penalties and a conversion for Shannon with senior prop Ciaran Parker, scrum-half Jack Stafford and no.8 John Foley also playing their part.
